A three day course, which assumes minimal knowledge of change management principles. The Foundation training will enable attendees to:
- Understand change and why helping individuals through change is an important process
- Identify what factors affect people’s responses to change
- Understand how personality affects a person’s reaction to change
- Understand how change managers can assist people through the change process
- Understand the different team types and why teams are important in achieving change
- Focus on improving team effectiveness
- Understand how team change impacts organisational change
- Identify key metaphors of organisational change, and how they relate to business transformation
- Understand and critically evaluate different models of organisational change
- Begin to build an integrated model of the organisational change process
- Identify different leadership styles
- Understand the relationship between leadership styles and overcoming resistance to change
- Understand the effects of different leadership styles on the change process
- Begin to develop a healthy response to the demands of leading change
- Integrate change management templates, such as change impact assessments into the change process
The Foundation training concludes with a 1 hour multiple choice exam and you must achieve 50% to attain the internationally recognised change management certification.
