A three day course which assumes minimal knowledge of change management principles. The Foundation training will enable attendees to:
Understand change and why helping individuals through change is an important process
Identify what factors affect people’s responses to change
Understand how to assist people through the change process
Focus on improving team effectiveness
Understand the importance of aligning change initiatives to strategy
Apply change management practices to support projects and programmes
Identify key organizational metaphors and how they relate to business transformation
Understand different models to facilitate organizational change
Begin to build an integrated model of the organizational change process
Understand the relationship between leadership and overcoming resistance to change
Begin to develop a healthy response to the demands of leading change
Use change management tools, such as change impact assessments into the change process
We recommend candidates spend a minimum of 4 hours completing the recommended pre-course work.
The Foundation training concludes with a 50 question, 40 minute multiple choice exam. Delegates must achieve 25 or more marks to attain the APMG Change Management Foundation certification.
