In PRINCE2 these 7Themes are integral to the successful application of the 7 management Processes. PRINCE2 details the importance of these Themes and how they are applied during the execution of the Processes.

Business Case   A document which justifies a project's start, execution and closure. Refined after drafting the Project's Plan and reviewed and updated as necessary during each stage of the project.
Organization   Defines project roles and responsibilities for application of each management Process and offers a model for reporting and decision making.
Plans   Describes the different types of plans in a PRINCE2 project, their composition and management.
Progress   Describes the performance control mechanisms and review tools available to senior management and authorities delegated to the project manager.
Risk   PRINCE2’s standardised approach for risk analysis and management. Describes at which points risks must analysed, who is involved and what tools can be used for their management.
Quality   Path to applying quality assurance and control in a project. Aligned to IS0's quality standards this component steps out how to plan for quality, quality responsibilities, methods and control tools.
Change   Product Control (asset management of a project's products). This Theme describes rules and procedures for the management of changes. It also covers the product management functions of Planning, Identification, Control, Status Accounting and Auditing.
