MoP PRACTITIONER – WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Anyone with an interest or involved in delivering, supporting, tracking or decision making associated with the organization’s portfolio of change and strategy. This includes members of management boards, directors of change, senior responsible owners, project & programme managers, portfolio, programme and project office staff, staff involved in strategic planning and performance management.
MoP PRACTITIONER – COURSE COMPOSITION
The training is a scenario based training course focusing on the application of portfolio management in accordance to the MoP best practice guidance. Review and revision sessions are included throughout the training. A Practitioner sample exam paper is also used during the training to review knowledge gaps of individual candidates.
For public courses the Practitioner course is delivered as a 2 day event. For in-house programs the training can be delivered as a 2 day or 3 day event.
MoP PRACTITIONER – COURSE PREREQUISITES
Passing the MoP Foundation exam is a prerequisite to attending the MoP Practitioner course.
We also recommend Practitioner participants complete approximately 5 hours of pre-course work.
MoP PRACTITIONER – CERTIFICATION EXAM
The Practitioner exam is an open book scenario based exam consisting of four questions. The exam must be completed within three hours and the maximum score is 80 marks. Delegates must score 50% and above to attain the MoP Practitioner certification.

The MoP registered Practitioner qualification is valid for 5 years. Practitioners should be re-registered within 3-5 years of their original certification in order to demonstrate their commitment to professional development.

A copy of the official manual MoP – Management of Portfolios will be required for the Practitioner course and exam. Please bring your copy as supplied as part of the MoP Foundation training.
