Prince2 Foundation - Course Aims

To develop knowledge on how the PRINCE2 project management method operates and how it can be applied in different situations.

This training will:

  • Explain how to justify the start up and continuation of a project
  • Explain how to effectively control the execution and closure of a project
  • Explain the key roles and responsibilities in a project
  • Demonstrate a series of tools that can be used to assist project managers in various problem situations
  • Present how to effectively apply PRINCE2 to small, medium and large sized projects
  • Prepare participants for the PRINCE2 Foundation Exam

By attending this course participants will understand:

  • The principles that underpin 'best practice' project management
  • The purpose and content of the PRINCE2 method
  • Key roles and responsibilities in a project
  • How to apply project management processes to effectively control the preparation, execution and closure phases of a project
