The training is a scenario based training course focusing on the application of the MSP programme management approach. Review and revision sessions of the elements that make up the method are included throughout the training. Practitioner sample exam papers are included as part of the pre-course training pack.
For public courses the Practitioner course is delivered as a 2 day event. For in-house programs the training can be delivered as a 2 day or 3 day event.
Passing the MSP Foundation Exam is a prerequisite to attending the MSP Practitioner course.
We also recommend Practitioner participants complete 10 – 12 hours pre-course work.
The Practitioner exam is an ‘objective’ style exam. Participants are presented questions in the following style with a number of potential responses requiring delegates to use their knowledge of MSP to select the correct response.
The Practitioner exam is a 2.5 hour open book scenario based exam. The maximum score for the exam is 80 marks. The participant must acquire 50% or more correct responses to pass the exam.
Fees vary between countries due to differences in exam fee per country and cost base variations between countries.
